social works An architecture student that found her true passion in product and furniture design and left her university in Brazil for a one year exchange program in the UK to study what she is really keen on. I am a determined person, eager to create innovative and efficient ideas whether working individually or in a team. My main interest is in studying human-centred and sustainable design as well as manufacture techniques. Currently, I am looking for a summer placement in a product or furniture design company to work preferably with design, however, marketing is also taken into consideration.

bend Second year product brief for Innovation and New Product Development module at De Montfort University
The brief asked for a mobile designed to be used in 5 years time. The solution I came up with aims to set a humanizing technology for the elderly, who are not used to current technologies when compared to the younger generations. A study of ergonomy and flexible materials was made to create a simple, adaptable and aesthetical product.

odyssey work in progress of Advanced Visual Communication module at De Montfort University

voo Workshop “Arms, Wings and Mechanical Things” (dr. Anthony Viscardi, professor of Lehigh University. Third year of Architecture at FAUUSP. Other members: Alexandre Lins and Vinícius Greter
The activity was consisted of three steps. The first one, animal movements and possible geometrizations of their joints were studied. Secondly, a device was developed, which was capable of reproducing the analyzed movement of the step 1. Finally, architectonic structures were created in groups by combining each member’s results in step 2. The flutter of a puffin led to a mechanism moved by a string and, when combined with the openings and closings of a sensitive plant and a snake attack, resulted in a wavy and symmetric structure, also inspired by the Museum of Modern Arte of Milwaukee, designed by Santiago Calatrava.
