April 24
At 4:59 a.m., officers responded to Hollywood Noddle, located at 48 E. Live Oak Ave., regarding the activation of a GPS tracking device. An investigation revealed the suspect, a 29-year-old female from Pico Rivera, and her boyfriend, a 29-year-old male, burglarized the restaurant and fled with an iPad and the stolen tracking device. The vehicle eventually yielded in the area of Live Oak Avenue and Arrow Highway, in the City of Irwindale. The male suspect fled on foot and evaded officers. The female was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking. A records check revealed she had an outstanding warrant and both suspects were on probation for burglary.

At 8:54 a.m., an officer responded to Arcadia Methodist Hospital, located at 300 W. Huntington Dr., regarding an aggravated assault incident. The officer determined a victim was abruptly dropped off at the hospital after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. The driver fled without providing any information. The victim was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing and it is currently unknown in what city the shooting occurred.
April 25
At 11:18 a.m., an officer responded to the front counter of the Arcadia Police Department to take a grand theft report. The incident occurred at 50 W. Duarte Rd. The victim stated he had gold coins stolen from his unlocked vehicle sometime between 1 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.
At 2:18 p.m., an officer responded to the 500 block of South Baldwin Avenue regarding a stolen vehicle report. The victim’s Honda Civic was stolen from the area sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. on April 25.
April 26
At 8:55 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 300 block Chelsea Road regarding a grand theft report. The victim discovered his cat-
alytic converter had been stolen from his Honda Element between April 19 and 26.
At 10:07 a.m., an officer responded to Banter, a kiosk located in the Westfield Santa Anita Mall at 400 South Baldwin Avenue, regarding a commercial burglary report. An investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) pried open the storage drawers and had stolen gold chains. The investigation is pending a review of the surveillance footage.
April 27
At 7:52 a.m., an officer responded to the intersection of Santa Anita Avenue and Santa Clara Street regarding a vandalism report. A witness stated the suspect was attempting to board the bus, that was out of service, and when he was told he could not board, he kicked the glass door causing it to break. The suspect fled on foot. He is described as a 40 to 50-year-old White male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and brown cargo pants.
At 10:28 a.m., officers responded to Eisenhower Park, located at 601 N. Second Ave., regarding a battery in progress. The officers determined the suspect, a 33-year-old female transient, had kicked the victim, her boyfriend. The victim declined medical attention. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
April 28
At 1:49 a.m., an officer responded to Wells Fargo, located at 1200 S. Baldwin Ave., regarding a vandalism report. Someone had spray-painted on the north side of the building. No suspects were seen, and no witnesses were located.
At 2:14 a.m., an officer responded to a dental office, located at 921 S. Baldwin Ave., regarding a commercial burglary report. Surveillance footage captured a lone suspect enter the business through an open rear door, he ransacked the office, and fled with an unknown amount of property. The suspect is described as an Asian male with shoulder length hair. responded to the area of 2nd Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, regarding a male subject bleeding from the head. Officers responded and discovered an unknown suspect pushed the victim to the ground, searched the victim’s pockets, and fled emptyhanded. Arcadia Fire responded and transported his to Arcadia Methodist Hospital for treatment. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot-7-inches, 160 pounds, around 50-years-old, and wearing all dark grey clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
April 29
At 12:02 p.m., an officer responded to 7-Eleven, located at 102 E. Huntington Dr., regarding a trespassing incident. The officer located the suspect, a local transient who had an active trespass order on file and arrested the 36-year-old male. He was transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
At 1:04 a.m., an officer responded to the 9400 block of West Duarte Road regarding a traffic collision between a moving vehicle and a parked car. Upon contacting the driver, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his breath. Through a series of tests, the officer concluded the suspect was driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and had a blood alcohol content of 0.16%. The 22-year-old male from Arcadia was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
April 30
At 4:28 a.m., an officer responded to the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Old Ranch Road regarding the activation of a GPS tracking device contained in a package. The device had been deployed as a way to combat package thefts throughout the city. The officer located the tracker and discovered someone had stolen the tracker along with the victim’s mail and discarded the tracker.

way and Huntington saw graffiti painted on a wall. No suspect was seen in the area. This investigation is continuing.
At 6:35 a.m., a caller reported a transient encampment along the wash in the 900 block of West Huntington. Officers responded and found graffiti on the train overpass structure. Three more locations were later discovered to have been vandalized in a similar way. This investigation is continuing.
At 9:39 a.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of East Huntington regarding a male caller stating he was having “issues” with his head. Officers arrived and determined the subject may be a danger to himself or others and needed to be evaluated by a mental health professional. He was transported to a local facility for treatment.
April 22
At 1:51 a.m., a suspicious subject was reported breaking into a vehicle in the 700 block of East Foothill. Upon arrival officers saw that the vehicle being broke into was now driving away from the location. The vehicle was stopped and an investigation revealed that the suspect had broken into his parents’ vehicle. The parents were contacted and advised he had permission to use the vehicle. The suspect advised that he had locked the keys in the vehicle and decided to break a window to get in. The suspect showed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for DUI and transported to the Monrovia Police Department jail for a sobering period.
At 4:42 a.m., a vehicle fire was reported in the 700 block of Mountain View. Upon arrival they found the vehicle in flames. Fire personnel responded and put out the fire. This investigation is continuing.
At 7:32 a.m., a caller in the 700 block of West Huntington reported someone had stolen the catalytic converter from a vehicle during the night. This investigation is continuing.
At 9:42 a.m., an employee at a business in the 100 block of West Foothill called to report a male transient walked into the store and punched the manager. Officers arrived and located the suspect walking away from the store. The suspect was identified by the victim and was placed under private person's arrest. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
At 11:03 a.m., two callers reported their vehicles’ catalytic converters were stolen overnight. One in the 1000 block of Royal Oaks and the second in the 300 block of North Madison. This investigation is continuing.
At 12:31 p.m., a caller in the 600 block of West Huntington reported a male subject was down on the street and unresponsive. Officers arrived and found the subject to be sleeping. While speaking to the subject officers saw drug paraphernalia next to him. The subject admitted the paraphernalia was his and that he uses it to smoke a controlled substance. He was arrested and released with a citation.
At 1:27 p.m., an employee at a business in the 1600 block of South Mountain called to report they had caught someone stealing and that he was currently being detained. Officers arrived and accepted their private person's arrest. He was released with a citation.
At 2:40 p.m., a caller in the 900 block of East Lemon reported she had parked her vehicle in front of a school and went inside for a few minutes. When she returned she noticed $5,000 in cash was taken from her unlocked vehicle. This investigation is continuing.
At 10:05 p.m., a subject who had been arrested for a series of vandalism’s was released from court the previous day. His mother had not heard from him since his release and wanted to report him missing. Officers responded to their residence in the 100 block of North Mountain and took a Missing Person’s report. He was added into the national missing person’s database. This investigation is continuing.
At 11:08 p.m., an officer was patrolling the intersection of Mountain and Evergreen when he saw a vehicle traveling without headlights. The vehicle was stopped and an investigation revealed that one of the passengers had used a false name and was also in possession of a controlled substance. Further investigation revealed that he was also on parole. He was arrested and taken into custody.
April 23
At 3:02 a.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of Sherman after a subject broke into his girlfriend’s residence and tried to steal her cell phone. During the altercation the suspect pushed both his daughter and his girlfriend. The girlfriend sustained a minor injury. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. This investigation is continuing.
At 1:45 p.m., a caller reported a single car traffic collision in the 400 block of East Foothill. Officers arrived and checked on the well-being of the occupants and determined that no one was injured. The driver at fault was issued a citation and a police report was completed.
April 24
At 9:02 a.m., a resident in the 800 block of Bonita called to report his vehicle was missing and he did not give anyone permission to take it. Officers arrived and added the vehicle to the national stolen vehicle system. This investigation is continuing.
At 9:51 a.m., an employee from a business in the 700 block of West Huntington called to report that two guests had their catalytic converters taken from their vehicles sometime during the night. This investigation is continuing.
At 4:01 p.m., a resident in the 200 block of East Lime called to report that her son was in violation of a domestic violence restraining order by being on her property. Officers arrived and saw the son on the property. The restraining order was confirmed and the son was subsequently arrested.
