Friendly Visitors Share your time and make a difference! The benefits of a friendly visitor can be life-changing for seniors who are isolated. Research shows that simply playing a game or chatting about the news can reduce the feeling of isolation and increase the health and well-being of seniors. As a friendly visitor, you join a unique group of volunteers who reach out to elders in their homes, including Beacon Assisted Living or Dementia Care Housing. Your visits are a gift that makes a world of difference to someone who is alone. Contact Volunteer Services at firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved.
