Prosperity Bank was founded in the rural Southeast Texas town of Edna in the mid-1980s. Now the second largest Texas-based bank, it has grown to 238 branches throughout Texas, including 15 in Oklahoma. It was also named by Forbes Magazine as America’s Best Bank in both 2012 and 2014.
