The main components of the Office 365 Leaning Path identity are found within the logo and visual design. The visual components consist of a specific logo badge than can be paired with the Office 365 logo mark, and or an icon depending on the topic of the presentation.

As Admins embark on new goals , they will gain abilities from the hereoes. The heroes teach the Admins and give them the tools neccessary to regain their own super powers. The heroes have special skills they are able to share with those who want to learn. Use the logo with judgment when applying them to images with illustrations. Make a consistent dynamic relationship between the heroes and the badge. The badge should never exceed the size or visual heierachy of the heroes.

The Logo Usage This is a basic overview of how not to treate the logo throughout the Learning Path brand experience. Visual impact is the most important element when creating a memorable brand. Adhering to the Microsoft and Office 365 brand, we need to set constraints on logo usage.

Using the Office Brand Logo The Office brand has only two approved logos for use The primary logo consist of a threshold symbol in addition to the Office logotype in PMS 166. This logo will be used in the majority of cases. When communication is about only services, the Office 365 subbrand logo may be used in place of the Office logo. Primary master brand logo endorses all Office offerings Subbrand logo used only when communicating solely about Office 365 services. If any other products are mentioned in a communication use the primary logo and include “Office 265� as text only.

Typographic Styles


Typography The visual design principles contain variations for heading styles for titles, main heading, and paragraph styles. The typographic styles are to be used to communicate every kind of message in relation to the color guide and design elements together. Type Family Segoe Pro for Print and digital banners Segoe UI for digital text (PPT, Web, Email) Color Headline type can use brand colors if appropiate. Orange and other colors should never be used for body copy. Color guides shown on the right. Sentence case is our standard for all communications. Use all-uppercase sparingly - for titles short headings, buttons, or sub headings and never for full paragraphs. Never justify text

Big Headline Segoe Bold / Heavy is going to be our primary typeface for large headlines with print and screen. Depeneding on the message you are able to use Segoe / Light. The size differential between headline and copy should be large enough to create a clear design hierarchy. Size: Leading: Kerning:

Using Icons You can use logos and icons on both color backgrounds, and clear space. Depending on the brightness ratio, you can use dark icons on background elements that use color. It is best practice to avoid using multiple colors for icons, or logos when using a graphic element, or color space.
