NEW! CCCAP Attendance Tracking System The State CCCAP team is preparing for the new Attendance System (ATS) implementation and we need your help! In order to track attendance and transmit information to receive CCCAP payments, you must register in ATS using a valid email address. The email address you will use for ATS needs to be confirmed or updated by September 29th, 2017. How to View and Update Your Email Address: 1. Access the Provider Self Service Portal (PSSP) at https://chats.state.co.us/providergateway/#/ 2. Select the Provider Information Summary screen to view the email address currently on file. 3. If the address is correct, no further action is required. If the address is incorrect or you are unable to access PSSP, do the following: 

Licensed providers should contact your licensing specialist to update your email address.

Exempt CCCAP providers should contact your county CCCAP program to update your email address.

Client Email Addresses: Families utilizing CCCAP will also need to confirm or update their email address on file with their county worker. Please post the attached flyer next to your POS machine(s) as a reminder to families. ATS Training: This fall, the State CCCAP team will provide online training materials and videos to prepare you for the new attendance system. Information about how to register for training is coming soon!

Boulder County CCAP Waitlist Update On June 1st, 2017 a waitlist was put into place for the Boulder County CCAP program. TANF, child welfare and teen parents are exempt so these children will continue to be authorized.

Non-traditional Care Needed in Louisville, Lafayette & Boulder Families are struggling to find Saturday, evening and school days off care in these areas. If you are willing to help please contact Annette 303-441-3544 or CCRR@BoulderCounty.org

CCAP Provider Tips & Tricks About once a week or so it’s a good idea to run two tests on your POS machine(s). A Communications test will make sure the POS machine is talking with the CCAP system and your account.

The Early Childhood Council of Boulder County (ECCBC) ECCBC offers provider services in the form of professional development training (EQIT, Touchpoints and FLIP-IT) and quality improvement grants. For more information about ECCBC and the services they provide please go to:

www.ECCBoulderCounty.org

How to Run a Communications test: Push the F4 button located at the top right on the POS machine, enter your provider password, push 5 and then 3. Approved? If not, reach out to Xerox and CCAP. A Store and Forward test should be run daily if you do not have an analog line BUT even if you have an analog line, it’s a good idea to check to make sure there aren’t any swipes stuck. Sometimes you’ll have an unexpected power surge, a problem with your phone line, or you will see SAF Yes. How to Run a Store and Forward test: F4 button, provider password enter, push 3. No SAF’S found Good! SAF’s to run? Great! You just pushed them through.

Please Post Your Closure Dates And make sure to remind families repeatedly! Your CCAP families can search for alternate child care for those closure dates. Remind them to not wait until the last minute. It can take up to 10 days to get alternate care authorized by CCAP. Families can contact the CO Shines Child Care Referral at 877-338-2273 to receive a customized referral list of programs to call about short-term care while you are closed. Once they find a replacement center, they will need to request a CCAP authorization, by emailing the name of the new center, their provider ID number, the dates, days of the week, and times they need care, to CCAP@BoulderCounty.org. Please remind parents to swipe their CCAP card at the new center.
