Strategy and Findings

Strategy Our strategy is to build awareness of Greyhound Friends of North Carolina to increase greyhound adoptions, fundraising and volunteerism at the facility. We will reach a broad audience of animal lovers in order to promote the greyhound, specifically a former racer, as a great breed of dog to adopt.

Race for Greyhounds: Off to a Sprint This August In a role reversal like never before, humans will be racing for retired racing Greyounds! Greyhound Friends of North Carolina is hosting races and games for the whole family August _____ at ______. Competitors will be running in several sprint races similar to the events the dogs ran before they were adopted. The goal is to raise money and awareness through sponsors and competitors to help our Greyhounds find loving homes. Participants can fill out the registration form online or contact the office to pick one up. Competitors are encouraged to find sponsorship to benefit the dogs and the Greyhound Friends community. Putts for Paws Gets a Hole in One for Greyhounds in NC Greyhound Friends of North Carolina welcomes area golfers to play for the Greys! GFNC is holding Putts for Paws, a golf tournament to raise money for the Greyhound Friends to care for retired racing greyhounds that are awaiting adoption. Golfers can fill out the registration form available now on the website, or call the GFNC office. Competitors are encouraged to find a sponsor and raise money to benefit the dogs and the Greyhound Friends community. [Insert quote about event from a Greyhound Friends member].
