Battersea Arts Centre 16 May - 8 June 2013

Over 10 years ago we started inviting audiences to work-in-progress showings from our artists. ‘Scratch’, as it became known, is now at the heart of our mission to invent the future of theatre. This summer we’re putting on a festival to celebrate Scratch and all the great shows that have emerged from it. In the past we’ve had some brilliant shows created through scratch including Jerry Springer The Opera, 1927’s The Animals and The Children Took To the Streets, Kate Tempest’s Brand New Ancients to Little Bulb’s Orpheus. We’ve got a whole range of exciting new work, including some finished productions that sprang from Scratch. Read on to find out who you can see each week.
