COMPANY: DeHart Plumbing, Heating and Air TIME FRAME: One day business day. DESCRIPTION: Create simple and eye catching local bus ad with minimal text. Work with Stott and company owner for approval and production. DESIGNER: Katie Barton PROGRAMS USED: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. RIGHT: Custom “No Diagnostic Fee” seal was created for the company’s unique free diagnostic guarantee. It is utilized in the bus design, but can also be used in their other marketing formats.

TRENDS, PRESENTATION BOARDS & SIGNAGE FOR CUSTOMERS AT 2016 IWF SHOW IN ATLANTA.

COMPANY: Impress Decor DESCRIPTION: Four trend board concepts were designed and created for several customer presentations during the 2016 International Woodworking Show. Each trend had 10 to 15 Impress designs associated to each board to exhibit relavance. These boards were printed on an Epson Stylus Pro 11880 and were spray mounted to black foam core. PRESENTING DESIGNER(S): Katie Barton and Barry Gomez PROGRAMS USED: Photoshop, and Indesign.

RIGHT: 80� pull-up marketing signs were designed with Impress marketing standards. Imagery was provided by the global marketing team in Germany. Printing was outsourced for vinyl printing capabilities.

IMPRESS NORTH AMERICA DISPLAY ROOM DESIGN AND PROPOSAL COMPLETED WINTER 2015.

TIME FRAME: 7 weeks DESCRIPTION: Design proposal for Impress’ North America show room. The rendering (to the left) was presented to the head of Impress International. The idea was to allow for easy transition between decors being displayed, as well as an easy presentation tool to lay on the floor as a flooring idea, or turn sideways to show versatile decor directionality, etc. PROGRAMS USED: Sketchup and Photoshop.

RIGHT: This photograph displays the show room after completion. It is the first view seen once entered through the main office door, and the Impress signage was made from metallic vinyl adhesive.

COMPANY: Impress Decor CUSTOMER: Fiberesin DESCRIPTION: In addition to decor selection (wood and concrete) and colorwork for the client, story boards and coordinating trend themes were designed to help in the marketing aspect of the client’s product. Collaboration with their external marketing team was also needed to assist with the preparation of the designs and trends in their new website and brochures (see left page). Trend Forecasting/Design I.AM.GEN.Y was inspired by today’s generation Y and focused on their buying habits, interests and style, while developing concepts for Formica’s 2014/15 Commercial Retail Launch. RECLAIMED WOOD SLAT was developed in Photoshop and was inspired by Gen Y’s interest in a rustic reclaimed aesthetic that brings them back to the basics.

CONCEPT: Representing the Bonobos Band of Brothers Discount who honor men doing good in their community. The comic strip concept represents these everyday super heros. Fitting Room Mirrors The Bonobos pop-up shop was designed around Bonobos’ clientele of men who hate to shop. The store layout starts with briefs then pants, shirts, shoes, accessories, then finally the checkout. This makes shopping as easy as getting ready in the morning. Right: Mirrors hang from suspended fixtures system behind shirts and have fun quirky sayings.

The fitting rooms are tucked back behind the shirts display to increase product capacity, but is fun and easy to find within the store when needed.
