8 In the scroll list at right, select #9: Creating New Documents. Drag the New Cross-Reference dialog box out of the way so that you can see the text inserted in place of #9. (The formatting may be different.)

Now youâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ll format the text of the cross-reference. 9 Under Cross-Reference Formats, choose Page Number from the Format menu. 10 Click the Create Or Edit Cross-Reference Formats button ( ) to the right of the Format menu. 11 In the Cross-Reference Formats dialog box, select Character Style For Cross-Reference. Choose Body Bold-P from the menu to specify the character formatting of the cross-reference text. 12 Click OK to apply the change and return to the New Cross-Reference dialog box.
