The TOUR is well-known for being a significant contributor to nonprofit organizations in the communities where their tournaments are held. Since its inception in 1929, The TOUR has donated $2.3 billion to nearly 3,000 charities and individuals globally. These contributions are made possible each year thanks to the support of tournament sponsors, partners, fans and over 100,000 volunteers annually.

BARRACUDA CHAMPIONSHIP’S WEEK OF GIVING Being a strong community partner has always been a priority for the Barracuda Championship, as well as the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation, the nonprofit that oversees the annual tournament. As such, this event has given more than $3.6 million to date. In 2016, The tournament partook in their second Annual Week of Giving, where Barracuda Championship staff members volunteer their time to different charity organizations in the community. In addition to visiting local nonprofits, this PGA TOUR event makes donations at each stop. Recipients included Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, Children’s Cabinet, Kids and Horses, and many others.
