In brief... THE Finlaysons Wine Roadshow has kicked off its 20th annual tour of nine Australia wine regions and will be in the Barossa on August 28 at Murray Street Vineyards. After a difficult year in 2011 during which the country was not only recovering from a

drought but also experiencing heavy rains, the 2012 vintage has also been low yielding. Hosted by Finlaysons Wine partner and wine industry expert, Will Taylor, the roadshow will give practical and legal advice to grapegrowers and winemakers on how to prepare for, and better handle, the challenges presented by erratic weather conditions.

Always Adding Value to Your Home!

THE response to Tanunda Lutheran Home’s current Independent Retirement Living project in Arrawarra Place has been overwhelmingly well received with four homes already sold and only two remaining. This project follows on from the success of the 2008 other off-site independent living project in nearby Hoffmann Avenue and Bridge Street. TLH has received positive feedback from retirees who have happily settled into independent living with these “off-site” developments; providing them the opportunity to remain living in a community setting, but have all the services and benefits provided by TLH. With an increased demand to provide quality accommodation, close to all facilities, TLH continues to plan for the future by establishing additional off-site accommodation to suit the lifestyle desired of prospective retirees. The Arrawarra Place project located in a culde-sac area of the Langmeil Estate in Tanunda is quite unique. The picturesque parklands borders these six architecturally designed homes and are conveniently located close to medical centres and the local hospital, shopping centres, wineries and restaurants. Additional services at TLH’s main site include a physiotherapist, podiatrist, hairdresser, Courtyard Cafe and Chaplain services. A private courtyard with tiled flooring and the choice of double or large single garages, lends itself to perfect outdoor living and entertaining. An active social group also keep retirees connected with monthly luncheons, guest speakers and outings. Dedicated TLH maintenance staff are available as requested, taking the hassle out of any repairs. These homes have been built by respected locals Bartsch Builders Homes who are
