International Students How to Apply
For International students, Barnet and Southgate College offers an ideal London base for studies. Our campuses are located with excellent transport links, and are just a short Underground journey away from central London. The College truly reflects the cityâ€™s multiculturalism and we are justifiably proud of our diversity.
Courses are run across all our main sites. We welcome international students from all over the world on a wide range of courses; academic, professional, vocational and general interest courses, from English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to Higher National Diplomas (HND), Foundation Degrees and Top Up Years.

We are licensed to sponsor migrants under Tier 4 of the points-based system. This means we can sponsor students on Tier 4 Child and Tier 4 General Student Visas.

Barnet and Southgate College is an outer London college and therefore the lower level of maintenance funds is required for your visa application.
Application process All students must submit an application pack with all the documents listed below: For Level 4/5 (e.g. HNC and Foundation Degree) and Level 6 (Top Up Degree) application pack must include: n International Student Application Questionnaire n Academic references n Copy of passport n Qualification certificates (country of origin) â€“ verified by a notary public n Secure English language test e.g. IELTS (5.5) n Bank statement n Personal statement n TB certificate for selected countries (see list of countries on the UK Border Agency website)
