Higher Level Learning and Skills
Barnet and Southgate College offers you a range of Higher Education and Access courses, allowing you to progress onto a number of career pathways. Some of our Higher Education (HE) provision is delivered in partnership with University of Bolton, University of Derby, University of Hertfordshire and Middlesex University. Whatever course you choose to follow, you can be assured that the qualification you achieve at Barnet and Southgate College will have the same equivalence as those attained at university, but with the added advantage of smaller class sizes, extra support from tutors providing pastoral care and personal guidance from your lecturers with academic work. Our fees are significantly lower than most universities offering similar courses and we have four campuses across North London. This offers many students the opportunity to continue to live at home whilst they study; it’s not only cheaper but often more convenient, and for mature students offers less disruption to family life. HE is taught at either our Wood Street or Southgate Campus depending on the discipline and resources required, Spa Management has its own commercial spa located at the new Colindale Campus , Motorsports has its own specialist resources centre at Southgate Campus.
Deciding which HE course to choose and where to study is one of the most important decisions you may ever make. So come along and find out how we can help you make the right decision for a successful future in Higher Education. A supportive, friendly, local environment We offer personal one to one support compared to a huge university campus.
