What’s New and Exciting... February 2021 in Barnesville Normally we would be thinking Super Bowl – Mardi Gras – Valentines Day – Ash Wednesday and so many more things related to this time of the year. But, unfortunately, our normalcy has been interrupted by the Pandemic and the rippling effect it’s had on every aspect of our lives. My grandson Clark (age 7) had a unique solution that he shared with me during his bedtime prayers. “Dear Jesus, please take Covid 19 to the middle of the ocean and away from all people, Amen.” I sure wish it were that simple. But we are Barnesville! Together, one step at a time, we can get through this. Even a small step is progress. I’d like to challenge every Chamber member to take a close look at the Chamber and what assistance it can provide you. Know what’s available. Get involved. Get your money’s worth. Don’t miss the opportunity to fall in love all over again with your business. There’s never been a better time to absorb the many benefits of your Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is here for you. We are currently offering free monthly advertising in our beautiful color newsletter that reaches over 20 0 Chamber members. Visit the Chamber website which offers a plethora of information that will showcase your requests or upcoming events very professionally. Through these resources, members can find support, answers to questions, and networking opportunities. I long for the return of the monthly Chamber meetings where networking was at its finest and the main event was always sharing ideas. I have personally gained so much from being involved in our Chamber. It’s been heartwarming and a blessing to witness members supporting each other and the overall growth of our Chamber. As we strive to thrive during the next few months, I encourage everyone to utilize the assistance of your Chamber to help propel your business forward. I Love Supporting Barnesville! Barnesville is a town with great vision and energy. People from Barnesville seem to have their finger on the pulse of what’s really important. The top 2 superstars that come to mind are Jill Hissom and John Rataiczak. Without their never-ending energy and amazing attitudes, our Chamber would not be what it is today. Thanks so much for all you do. I’m so blessed to be a part of this team. Until we meet again, Stay Healthy and take care of each other.
