W E L C O M E The expo season across the south is an exciting time for the Simmental business. The south has some of the strongest gatherings of Simmental breeders coming out to exhibit and market their Simmental genetics, and the Tennessee Agribition and the Tennessee Simmental Association and the members of this sale should be proud to be one of the strongest breed sales at the Agribition for many years. The past sales have been strong however this year the Tennessee Association and the consignors have decided to raise the bar even higher. The junior membership has grown in numbers and the enthusiasm is high with a couple juniors giving back and consigning some of their best genetics. As you view the catalog you can see the offering maybe the strongest ever at the Agribition and this is the 31th year. If you look back thru the past year and look at the cattle that sold thru last years and what they have for their new owners sets a continues and strong track record for the sale. Also, in the junior show the next day many sale cattle and other cattle continued to do well through out the show season. If you have never been to this sale or haven’t been in few years then this a must attend. For some reason you can make it sale day please utilize the online bidding thru DV Auctions. In the past several years genetics from Tennessee have gone on to be successful in various herds as well as in the show ring. We would like to congratulate all the Tennessee members and programs that have much success in the show ring at the major shows such as the Sweepstakes, Kansas City, North American and the National Western. There are several special features this year, however genetics are being offered out of two of the winningest heifers in Tennessee. Thanks for sharing these genetics to the Simmental world. We have an outstanding set of frozen genetics to choose from as well as live lots such as breds, opens, and bulls that will work in numerous scenarios. Once again the Agribition is hosting an “Open to the World” junior heifer and steer show. The sale cattle will be eligible to compete in this event on Sunday. If you are a junior member coming to buy a show heifer, please talk to a Tennessee Simmental Association Board Member about their voucher and futurity programs. This is a great program and several breeders have stepped to help the program. A few juniors will win continue to win money and it could be you. Check it out, again it is open to all juniors in all states. Don’t forget to buy your raffle ticket for a chance to some great genetics donated by some great Tennessee breeders. The sale cattle will once again show on Friday afternoon beginning at twelve o’clock. We hope that you will stick around after the show to fellowship with consignors, TSA Board Members, and Simmental breeders. Don’t forget the annual meeting and awards program. The TSA continues to work hard and make the association stronger. Get involved. Like always, if we can be of service to you, please do not hesitate to give a member of DP Sales or the sale staff a call. On behalf of the Tennessee Simmental Association and DP Sales Management, we invite you to spend the weekend with us and take in the Simmental festivities of the Tennessee Beef Agribition. Get involved in your state association and be part of the future sales at the Agribition.

to purchase genetics from this up and coming donor in the Simmental breed that we do so in our home state! This once in a lifetime royally bred percentage female has made an impact at numerous shows across the state as well as the country. MMK Elastic Heart 10E started off her very successful show career by winning breed champion at the N.I.L.E in Billings, MT, then successfully acquiring first place at the National Western Stock Show in Denver in both Junior and Open shows. These big time genetics have been proven throughout Tennessee winning breed champion over twenty times and numerous Supreme Champion titles such as TN State Fair, Supreme Champion at the TN Beef Expo, Supreme at the Rocky Top Classic and recently named 2019 MS Dixie National Division Champion. The dam of this tremendous heifer “TTA Precision 056” is the cornerstone donor of the Kinna Program and simply does not miss. Not only is the 056 Donor a head turner, but her pedigree is an outcross to almost every popular “show” pedigree out there today. The 056 bloodlines have consistently highlighted the flash and function sale year after year with top high sellers. To mention a few, the Udell Family from Iowa purchased a materal sib “Revenge” for $51,000 that went onto be Reserve Champion at Louisville in 2017, a fall by Profit x 056 sold for $35,000 while numerous others have sold in the $12,500 – 30 range in recent sales. Seller is selling the right to purchase 3 embryos to the bull of mutual agreement between the buyer and seller, guaranteeing 1 pregnancy if work is performed by a certified embryologist. MMK Elastic Heart 10E is due approximately March 20th and should be open and ready to flush late summer or early fall. This is truly exciting opportunity to invest in proven genetics that can make a serious contribution and elevate any program to the fore front of the industry!!

Juanada 7331 Angus donor that will easily find her way to the front of the line. We have been very fortunate to have had several of these Secret Weapon heifers out of her, including an older flush mate currently being campaigned by the Boyd family in Alabama. We are on the ground a lot with our cattle HLVW Secret J 1847 which is both good and bad I suppose as it makes them very gentle, but somewhat difficult to get that photo with the “look” that you want for the catalog photo. In that we need to photo these cattle in early January for catalog deadlines, catching a day with a bit of sunshine is tough and getting a gentle one to perk up for a photo is double tough. Look at her in person and you will see a great-necked, deep and stout female that will hold her own in any level of competition and be a pasture favorite for years to come.

• B&K Knockout 031F we will feel will be a crowd pleaser. 031F was

taken out and exhibited while we were at the NAILE where he had lots of friends and won a really tough class in his first outing and this young man has not stopped since. 031F was just named the Mississippi Dixie National Junior Bull Calf Champion. We could write a book about this bull’s pedigree with the high selling Distinction and the ultra high selling and legacy donor HPF/ Bourne Knockout Y030 and what they have done for our breed. If you are in the market for a bull that ties it all together with the look of a champion and a pedigree to match you need to come check this young man out sale day.

pedigrees we have that are the foundation here at TylerTown. S12E is out of our Upgrade x770P daughter who with only a handful of progeny to sale publicly has proven she’ll keep her spot in our donor program for a long time. A maternal sib to S12E was high selling female at the KenCo Family Matters Sale going to Red River in TX and a full sib to S12E was high selling open there as well going to ClearWater in IN. I expect you’ll be hearing a lot of big things from both of those females, along with S12E. This bred heifer is what we wish our pastures was full of. She has the structure, capacity, and look to be a big time breeding piece for even the most elite programs. You could have a lot of fun leading this one around at Junior Nationals in Louisville this summer but the real fun will be calving this one out and letting her work for you. is a full sister to the top selling open heifer out the Clear Choice Sale going to our friends at Double J Simmentals for $26,500 and we are predicting she may be in the winners circle quite a bit in the near future. Every visitor has wanted us to price this female but we want to consign our very best for public auction for equal opportunity for all parties. Not very often do you get a chance to breed a female of this caliber. 248E is truly one of a kind being super long fronted, big bodied, great footed, and she carries herself like a lady. She has the look we all desire but she also has the pedigree that is needed to be a big time donor being out of the great Primo and the Denver Champion and record sale setting WHF/PRS/HPF Alley 247Y that topped the HPF Living Legacy sale at $87,000. Alley 248E was reserve division champion at the recent Dixie Nationals. • AI’d to Mr CCF Clarified E3, ASA# 3275273 on 1/1/19
