BandWagon co-operates with live music promoters and venues by simplifying the gig booking and event management process.

“We aim to give European promoters and venues the benefits and peace of mind that UK promoters and venues have found using BandWagon. BandWagon gives access to the best breaking UK talent and takes the stress and risk out of booking UK talent. Stan McLeod -

ABOUT BANDWAGON The times they are a-changin’: the illegal downloads are a-torrentin’ and record sales are a-falling. But BandWagon graduated with top marks from the ‘here’s three chords, now start a band’ school of music and we’re here to help. Inspired by the DIY approach taken by an ever-growing number of artists, two former music promoters and band managers, and lifelong music fans, got out their sticky (cassette) tape and safety scissors to provide artists with a one-stop shop to take ownership of their careers. BandWagon allows you to interact with promoters and venues, book gigs, build a live fanbase and plan that vital next stage of world domination.

BandWagon aims to facilitate interaction between artist and promoter, addressing common frustrations from both sides of the gig-booking process: • Difficulties directly contacting the promoter or venue info@ doesanyoneevenreadthis?.com • Sending demos by post brb, just taking a hike up Brown Envelope Mountain • Lack of gig opportunities for unsigned bands, particularly outside of their home town • What goes on tour, gets printed in NME • Lack of transparency from promoters regarding payment, PA standard and information regarding the gig “…does anyone have a 3.5 mm Stereo to XLM jack…” • Unable to find available acts to play new nights Lonely Hearts Club WLTM … Band? • Bands arriving late and not bringing agreed equipment packed lunches don’t count

By doing so we hope to help both promoters and acts set a standard of professionalism from the beginning of their careers, in turn increasing the number of live music events across the UK.

Marner Brown’s live show is infamous on the UK gig scene and especially in London. The band had a great 2011 spreading the word and gathering fans and played up and down the country along with some really good festivals, including Guilfest/ Glasto/ Electric Picnic/ headlined Haddowfest in Edinburgh. They also played main stage at Frequency in Austria (the order went Marner Brown, The Kills, Elbow, Kasabian). Mean Fiddler saw them support Little Barrie recently and want to put on a headline tour for them when the album is done. AEG are also now big fans of the band. At the end of last year the band were approached to write and record the track ‘Open Road’ by Grolsch for their television advert. With this endorsement behind them The Fly magazine said, “The result’s not lad rock, but something more delicate and precious.” Balancing undeniable song-writing prowess with genuine charm, the band have always demanded attention. Hardworking yet instinctively talented, Fiachra has always had musical ability in the blood. His brother Coz shares the same musical

ability, managing to sign to Warner with his former band Larrikin Love having only played drums for six months! In the live setting, lead guitarist Aaron never fails to impress, with glowing praise coming from Ronnie Wood who said the following and offered to sign them on the spot: “Marner Brown…really good. They had a bit of a Led Zep ‘n’ Roses type thing“. Ronnie Wood “Aaron Grimes is currently THE best young guitarist in the UK and Marner Brown are possibly the best support we’ve ever had.” Steve Cradock, Ocean Colour Scene With their debut album to be released through Pledge Music and negotiations happening with some incredible producers; Marner Brown is truly one band paving the way for the next generation of rock ‘n’ roll. “Press lining up to lick their collective arse. Don’t you just hate it when a band lives up the hype”. Guilfest Review,
