Our Innovative Approach

At mUvmethod we understand that everything in the body is connected. We look at the body from the perspective of fibrous fascial connective tissue, where the muscles fit into the fascial web of the body. Rather than seeing one muscle as originating and inserting at one particular point, dividing and separating the body, we see the connection of one muscle to the next via the connective tissue. This gives us a clearer understanding around why you just can’t have something affect one part of the body without it affecting the rest. For example, most of us have experienced an injury in a particular place like the neck and then the shoulder starts to hurt and moves into the wrist and eventually into the foot. in our culture we describe this as “just getting old”, but it’s not a result of getting old, it’s the result of a dehydrated, unhealthy fascial system.

Testimonials

There is nothing more rewarding and selffulfilling that this mUv class. It has helped me grow as a dancer and an individual. I know how to control my stress and how to manage it without letting it get me too upset. It has taught me that I can get through hard and uncomfortable situations whether it’s real life or holding a really hard (painful) yoga position. I am stronger and more flexible. I recognize my breathing constantly now more than ever especially when I am dancing. I don’t know what I would do without this method and mUv class. I wish I could take it for the rest of my life. It’s AMAZING! This class helped me figure out what I want to be and helps me get there, in my dancing life and everyday life. I love it. “
