With 288 hectares of their own vineyards, Taittinger is the second largest grower in the region and is passionate about nature and taking care of the environment. Being ‘Green’ is in their everyday DNA, working with Mother Nature to produce the best Chardonnay (for floral elegance), Pinot Noir (for regal richness) and E Pinot Meunier (for fruity roundness). Some 18 metres underground the UNESCO 4 th Century Roman cellars form Taittinger’s AGEING heart. Here, their crème de la crème cuvée – Comtes de Champagne ‘Blanc de Blancs’ (100% Chardonnay) – is left to gently mature and is only released after a minimum of 8 years.
