THE ALLMAN BROTHERS LEGACY CONTINUES THE DEVON ALLMAN PROJECT WITH SPECIAL GUEST DUANE BETTS TO PERFORM LIVE AT THE PAVILION AT BRUCE ROSSMEYER’S DESTINATION DAYTONA
The Allman Brothers co-founders, Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts sons, Devon Allman and Duane Betts have teamed up on a musical journey to continue the legacy. And they’re bringing the legacy to Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona Pavilion at 1651 N. US Hwy. 1 in Ormond Beach on Saturday, February 23. The Devon Allman Project is a sextet that finds Devon joined by percussionists John Lum and R. Scott Bryan as well as bassist Justin Corgan, guitarist Jackson Stokes and organist Nicholas David. Devon Allman, son of the late Gregg Allman and former leader of Honeytribe and the Royal Southern Brotherhood has embarked on a massive road tour with The Devon Allman Project and special guest, Duane Betts, son of Dickey Betts. The show typically begins with a 30-minute set with Duane Betts and guitarist Johnny Stachela and Devon’s rhythm section. Then, The Devon Allman Project takes the stage performing songs from Honeytribe, Royal Southern Brotherhood, The Devon Allman Band and choice covers. The concert culminates with all eight musicians joining forces for Allman Brothers tunes and other classics.
