Kitesurfing is a fast growing sport and Kite Beach in Table View is one of the “Mecca’s” for both beginners and pro kitesurfers. There are several townships close to Table View in which poverty is a reality. Township children, many with great promise, spend their weekends surrounded by bad elements and the negative influences of peer pressure. You can teach an underprivileged child how to swim and kitesurf and to enjoy the sea! Volunteers become a mentor for a child - teaching the child how to swim, the basics of kitesurfing and how to use the equipment. If you have no idea how to kitesurf, you will learn how to at Kite Beach.
Teaching Bradley kitesu rfing After finishing training, the child will receive a card allowing him or her to help other tourists and kitesurfers with setting up their equipment and watching over their belongings. This will create a weekend job for the child and a chance to for them to get involved in kitesurfing. Who knows, the kid you teach may become the next world champ? No experience is necessary. Qualified kitesurfers will receive a discount off their package.
• Accommodation can be upgraded to a private room at an extra cost. • The length of stay can also be altered according to the volunteer’s needs. • Visas and insurances are the responsibility of the volunteer. • A police clearance certificate is essential.
