ALISON ZAJACEK Chief financial officer

StrataTech Education Group BACKGROUND: Zajacek began as a corporate controller at StrataTech in 2009, when the education group had three campuses, less than 100 employees and 1,700 students, and $35 million in revenues. By 2011, Zajacek was named CFO and used her leadership skills to help the institution thrive. In 2018, StrataTech ended the year with five campuses, more than 330 employees and 3,000 students, and more than $70 million in revenues. LEADERSHIP: Zajacek worked together

with StrataTech’s CEO to develop a robust employee benefits package. Zajacek also made it a priority to build out the organization’s HR department – growing the department from virtually non-existent to a full staff.

RONALD ZOROMSKI Chief financial officer

Great Hearts America/Great Hearts Arizona BACKGROUND: Zoromski is a member of the senior leadership team for Great Hearts, which will enroll 19,000 students this year. He manages Great Hearts’ finance function and oversees planning and analysis, accounting, payroll, accounts payable, business financing and various other financial services across the organization. In his two years as CFO, Zoromski has brought several improvements to Great Hearts’ business outcomes. LEADERSHIP: Zoromski oversees the relationships with banking, finance

and insurance partners, along with major real estate and construction vendors that provide services to Great Hearts, which builds two or three new schools each year with total annual construction budgets exceeding $40 million.
