They were the only party voting yes in the referendum about whether to settle with the changes in the constitution or to cancel the old constitution and form a new one. The old constitution gave the president a lot of privileges, and the changes that were made in it weren’t enough, also these changes caused some terms in the constitution to be contradictory to each other.
