t San Clemente’s entrance to the north lies a quaint mix of landmarks and restaurants. We call this area North Beach. Home to the historic Ole Hanson Beach Club and Casino San Clemente, both spaces oﬀer unique grounds for weddings and special events. Built in 1937, Casino San Clemente once served as a seaside dance hall frequented by celebrities such as Mickey Rooney. The Ole Hanson Beach Club was built in 1928 and named after Ole Hanson, the developer of San Clemente’s “Spanish Village by the Sea.” Just up the road from the beach club is the historic Miramar Theater, slated to open in Fall 2022 as the Miramar Food Hall, an ocean-view dining experience with 15 vendors and two bars. The theater will be rehabilitated into the Miramar Event Center, a performance and event venue. In the meantime, you can enjoy the charming outdoor patios at Moulin and The Shwack Cantina or visit Landers San Clemente or Los Molinos Beer Co. for a night on the town.
