RETAIL DESIGN Design Team: Alicia Morris, Ashley Wittenberg, Lindsay Brandon, Meng Yany Project Statement: This international project was to create the first flagship West Elm Furniture Showroom in Europe. The project paired fellow group members studying abroad in Rome, Italy and students studying in Ames, Iowa. Having students abroad allowed first hand insight into the Italian culture and guided the design process for this retail space. The design combines West Elms strong wood features with a feeling of an Italian countryside villa.
