It is the cornerstone program of Soroptimist International of the Americas, LiveYourDream.org's sponsoring organization. Each year, more than $2.4 million in education grants are awarded to over 1,500 women, many of whom have overcome enormous obstacles including poverty, domestic violence, the death of a spouse and/or substance abuse.

The Women’s International Fund for Education’s long-term vision is to alleviate poverty, as well other societal and environmental issues, through the education and empowerment of women. The Women’s International Fund for Education helps women worldwide go to college by providing financial support and career development and mentorship.
