Healthy Community Network Mission Statement: Provide leadership in mobilizing a community-based coalition of organizations and individuals who are committed to improving public health by advocating for healthy living strategies.

Mrs. Kutz's 8th grade students (Palmyra-Eagle Middle School) collected 225 personal hygiene products and raised $37 by sponsoring a hat day Volunteers delivered items to the Palmyra Park Apartment Homes residents on June 17


Volunteerism - June 11

HCN partnered with Standard Process and Palmyra Park Apartment Homes residents for some much needed volunteer gardening. Volunteers pitched in with weeding, laying mulch, and overall design support to create a even more beautiful area. “I want to start by saying the yard looks simply amazing. The volunteers are the kindest and most friendly people we have encountered in a long time. It is a joy to open our curtains and look outside now! Thank you and all of the Standard Staff for doing this for us. You folks are treasures!” – Cheryl Charles (pictured)


70th Annual Father’s Day Fly-In – June 16 8 contact forms collected / $89 in donations


1st Annual Palmyra Panther Prowl – August 3 • • • •

Palmyra Car, Truck, Bike Show – August 17 Our young gift card winner is very happy she entered the raffle


End of Summer/Back to School Carnival – Sept 7 Total count: 60 children and 57 adults = 117 attendees (Over 4x more than 2018)

Donation – October 23 Modern Woodmen of America made a donation of $330 worth of diapers and wipes for our P2P events


Trick or Treat Parade – October 26 HCN tote bags and fruit snacks were handed out to adults and children participating in the Trick or Treat parade in Palmyra.


Donation – November 26 HCN is the recipient of $450 from the t-shirt fundraiser during the Palmyra-Eagle Middle/High School Friendsgiving


Global Giving Tuesday – December 3 100 toys were collected that benefited 76 Palmyra Elementary School children! With our anonymous donor match and over $140 in monetary donations to be used for purchases, that brought our toy total to around 300!


Palmyra Christmas Parade – December 7

Volunteers walked with HCN tote bags full of fruit snacks next to the 1st Place winning float.


Financial Meeting – December 18 Palmyra Park Apartment Homes residents attended a FREE financial workshop hosted by HCN.
