Christmas market in Oberndorf town park Experience the romantic, joyful flavor of this Christmas market in the town park, located right in the center of Oberndorf, famous as the birthplace of “Silent Night”. The program of side events includes alpenhorn players, Anglöckler carolers from the Oberndorf boy-scout troop, wind musicians as well as Schöffleut-Pass Oberndorf, a heritage group which nurtures the region’s Krampus and Perchten traditions. Radstadt Christmas Hike In December, the local tourist office in Radstadt organizes a reflective, late-afternoon Christmas hike along the idyllic Kaiser Promenade, an event that is now an established Advent tradition.
