BoConcept is set up to help customers realize their visions. At the Austin store on West Second Street, home décor shoppers can explore meticulously arranged living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, as well as a full customization studio. Inviting fabrics and leathers cover sofas and chairs of all sizes, and accent colors pop. Try not to touch each throw pillow as you walk through. Just try. Started by designers Jens Ærthøj Jensen and Tage Mølholm in a small Danish town in 1952, BoConcept has grown to include more than 230 franchise stores and 90 studios in more than 50 countries. The Austin store opened in October 2008. Its three-year anniversary party coincided with the new catalog’s launch party on Oct. 6. Store manager Dillar Schwartz has been there from the bare concrete beginning.
