am blessed to have been a friend of the್D’Souza್family್for್over್12್years.್್ I have had a 50-year career in law enforcement and as a command officer have managed every aspect of patrol and investigations. By sheer volume dealing with crime victims is impersonal and short term. That changed when I met the D’Souza್ family್ and್ learned್ the depth of human trafficking and how lies, deceit and threats challenge themost fundamental faith in fellow humans. The brightest part of our friendship is to see how faith and friends can restore freedom, trust and fellowship after such victimization. We all must strive to rid this world of despicable people that violate our most precious gift of freedom. Dale and Karen Menkhaus transformed our family life from trauma to triumph shared Dancy and್Harold್D’Souza.
