Lucas Sadler's Summary Lucas is a Senior Executive with over 20 year’s management experience. He has held roles leading, directing, managing a variety of Businesses in the Energy, Renewable Energy, Retail and FMCG marketplace. These responsibilities have been in markets across Australia in NSW, VIC, QLD, NT and Internationally in the South Pacific. Lucas has extensive fast moving consumer goods, sales team development and wholesale channel building experience. Lucas has held a number of Senior Roles at well-known retail chains in a variety of Management roles, including Customer, Department, Store, State and as General Manager (International). Lucas has operated both an Electrical and Computer Franchisee trading under the Harvey Norman brand. Internationally the highlight of his executive career was to invigorate a diverse business in the South Pacific in remote and challenging conditions. This role involved extensive travel to Singapore, Jakarta, The Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong and the UK. Lucas has developed a National Dealer Network for Samsung Electronics Telecommunications equipment and held the National Account Manager role for Samsung’s major customer Harvey Norman. Lucas successfully made the transition from FMCG to the Energy Business a number of years ago, with Executive responsibility for establishing Sales and Branch offices in the highly competitive Australian Renewable Energy Sector (Solar). Most recently, Lucas was the Executive responsible for the Sales Leadership at TRUenergy / Energy Australia's utility business (owned by CLP). This role oversaw the direct and retention commercial / industrial sales teams, negotiating electricity and gas contracts in VIC, NSW, SA, QLD and the ACT. Today, Lucas is the Managing Director of Yingli Green Energy's (NSX:YGE) new Australian and Pacific Business. Lucas has positioned Yingli Solar directly in alignment with the Solar Council Best Practice program and is passionate about ensuring consumers “get the watts they paid for”.
