In Ecuador For the 11th consecutive year, a contingent of Auburn nursing faculty and students spent spring break in Quito, Ecuador, providing healthcare needs to the local community. During the trip, the group visited the Middle of the World monument, a 30-meter tall structure commemorating where a French explorer calculated the world’s equatorial line.

On Capitol Hill When Auburn and Auburn Montgomery nursing students traveled to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, this spring for the annual Project SERVE trip, the delegation visited Washington, D.C., to see Alabama Rep. Martha Roby. Last year, the group visited with Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions.
