Another initiative by Share A Skill Change A Life © copyright Andrea Macdonald On Monday 5 October 2009, Share A Skill Change A Life (SASCAL), a charity campaign launched on 24 August 2009 to encourage people to share their skills with others, announced one of its most important initiatives, SWIM TO ME!, a life saving campaign to encourage life guards and professional swimming instructors to teach others, who cannot afford to fund skills training, how to swim. How will it work? Leisure organisations will be called upon to open two hours earlier on Fridays to provide swimming lessons free of charge to a fixed number of people. In the first year of operation our campaign objective is to persuade instructors and the organisations for whom they work, to equip 100 individuals with this life saving skill. SWIM TO ME! is available for sponsorship. It has the potential to be a valuable Corporate Social Responsibility asset for any large organization choosing to adopt it with SASCAL.
Just some of the Corporate Social Responsibility benefits include publicity, branding, strengthening of relationships with the local community, investors and potential customers. For further information please contact Andrea Macdonald Share A Skill Change A Life firstname.lastname@example.org
