packing bags in Tesco at Duloch and a bucket collection in the Kingsgate Shopping Centre. The boys would like to take this opportunity to pass on their thanks to the people of Dunfermline for their kind contribution. The team recently secured a lucrative sponsorship deal from Dunfermline based Cailean Property Services, who kindly donated money to fund new strips for the trip to Ayr. Cailean Property Services also provided sponsorship to assist with the costs towards training jackets for all children within the club. As a club, Duloch Juniors have around 150 boys and girls aged 5 to 12 playing at Pitreavie playing fields every Saturday and Sunday morning. Any players or coaches, both beginners and experienced, who are interested in being part of the club please visit the website http://dulochjuniors.wordpress.com/.
The boys who represent Duloch Blacks 2003s, worked extremely hard to assist with funding towards the trip to Ayr. Fundraising events included a Forth Road Bridge sponsored walk,

Backing up to the Cloud
Camping near Duloch for those who appreciate the environment we live in
Backing up your important data (music, photographs and documents) is an essential part of owning a computer. With a variety of gadgets available to make the job straight forward you are spoiled for choice. These days we not only want to be able to back up our data, we also want to be able to access it across the multiple devices we have such as laptop, tablet and smartphone. Thankfully cloud based services exist to allow you to do just that. Take Apple for example. It’s iCloud service is a must for anyone with an Apple device. It will back up the data on your iPhone, iPad or iPod and then synchronise it across all your devices. It does this silently so you don’t have to worry about clicking any buttons. Apple offer 5GB of storage per iTunes account free and if you need more you have to pay a small annual fee for it. (http://www.icloud.com) Google Drive is Google’s offering. It works allows you to drag and drop data
from your laptop into the Google Drive window. Your data is then uploaded to Google where it can be accessed via any device running the Google Drive App (available for most devices). Like iCloud, Google Drive comes with 5GB of free storage. If you need more, 25GB is a few pounds per month. (https://drive.google.com) Dropbox is another service similar to Google Drive. The only real difference is the initial storage allocation is a paltry 2GB although this can be increased if you pay. (http://www.dropbox.com) There are a growing number of services, each offering a slightly different take on cloud storage and you need to choose the right one for you. At Duloch Computers we can help. Simply call us on 07843437222 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and arrange an appointment.

Catrina’s love of dogs (especially little dogs) turns into a hospitality for dogs business! With 25 years in the Events & Hospitality, business dog-lover Catrina has now branched out to provide dogs with their very own hospitality and has turned her passion for her love of dogs into a thriving home boarding business. She has decided to look after not just Looi (the family Jack Russell) but up to four other little dogs when their families go on holiday: “I hated putting looi into kennels with their impersonal cages hence our “No Kennels, No Cages” approach. We go on the ethos of from “your home to our home” so the dogs have very little disruption to their family routine which, as we all know can be very upsetting and stressful for them and their owners! Your dog will settle into our dog friendly home after an initial familiarisation visit, with lots of space and woodland walks, so our clients can be guaranteed plenty of fun time and safety for their pets with added love and attention no matter how active their dog is.” No Kennels, No Cages is fully insured, licenced & registered with Fife Council and fully inspected by the local vet. Your Community After an amazing start to the year, which saw Acrobay’s team Gymtasia Evolution reach the top three in the finals of Sky One’s Got to Dance, the club’s run of success has continued. In February Acrobay scooped an impressive haul of medals and National titles at the Scottish Championships, with partnerships winning 8 Gold medals, four Silver and one Bronze. The club then added another success to their list of achievements after winning three medals and another National Title at the Scottish Tumbling Championships. The eighteen gold medallists from these two competitions became 2013 Scottish Champions, qualifying to represent Scotland at their respective NDP British Finals in Stoke-on-Trent in May/June. All of the girls performed beautifully, achieving impressively high scores which included a few personal bests. Three partnerships finished in medal position, bringing home one Silver and two Bronze medals, a new record for the club.
Lifestyle & Leisure
The club’s future stars also had a chance to shine at Acrobay’s recent Club Championships. For many of the gymnasts, this was their first experience of competing in front of an audience and they took to the floor with grace and skill, showcasing individual skills or performing impressive floor routines with partners. They certainly look set to dominate the medal podiums in the future! Gymtasia Evolution have also been busy, making guest appearances at various events and venues around the country, including opening the 2013 Gymfest in Irvine, where they were presented with special award by Scottish Gymnastics to recognise their achievement. If you’ve missed seeing them, they will be performing at the PushKart Derby in Dalgety Bay on July 20th in aid of Cash for Kids. Come along and watch if you can, and help raise money for a very worthy cause! Acrobay Gymnastics Club is based at Dalgety Bay Sports Centre. We currently have 120 members, aged 3-40, and specialise in Acrobatic Gymnastics, a competitive partner sport which combines the strength, flexibility and technical precision of gymnastics with the grace and musicality of dance.
Fourteen gymnasts also flew the flag in March when five partnerships represented their club and country at the British FIG Championships. They all did extremely well, competing against some world class gymnasts, with one trio bringing home a Bronze medal, a massive achievement for For more information please visit our website; Scottish Gymnastics. www.acrobay.co.uk.
In April, 23 of Acrobay’s gymnasts formed part of the Scotland team who won the 2013 Celtic Cup in Wales. The annual competition, held this year in Cardiff, is a hotly-contested event between the Celtic Nations, all vying for supremacy in Acrobatic Gymnastics, and all desperate to bring home the Celtic Cup. The Scotland team comprised of 57 of Scotland’s best young gymnasts, including 9 partnerships from Acrobay. The four teams from Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland battled it out in a tightly-fought competition which resulted in a jubilant Scotland being presented with the coveted trophy. Next year’s competition will be hosted by Scotland, so the pressure is on to retain Photos: Howard Ashton-Jones, PSB Photography the title!
