This report is the result of a year long academic studio at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design. Rebuilding for Resilient Landscapes responds to a post-disaster reality in the Coastal Region of Ecuador after the earthquake in April 2016. The design proposals focus not only on the immediate needs, but also the often overlooked pre-existing stressors in the urban, natural and productive environments.
