Inspired, Innovative, Intriguing – This is what makes TITAS Presents so fascinating. Dance is a curious art form. Athletic, difficult, luscious, cultural, beautiful, entertaining and awe-inspiring – each audience member experiences it differently. Time and time again, this is what

I hear from audience members. First time audience members had no

idea dance was so cool, something our longtime subscribers have

always known. For 35 years, TITAS Presents has presented the coolest, the most innovative, diverse, the most remarkable dance artists touring the world today.

The 2017/2018 season won’t disappoint. We have assembled a season

of established companies, international companies and maverick companies that are blazing new paths in what and how we perceive dance. Funny, stunning, inspiring and exciting, we proudly present

a season of nine extraordinary dance companies from four different

countries, three of which are making their debut appearances in Dallas.

Thank you for being a part of another year of breathtaking performances,

and thank you for actively engaging in the arts and for being a part of

the TITAS Presents and AT&T Performing Arts Center family.

Bravura, Cultura Latina y Pasión Latina – Ballet Hispánico has stepped into the limelight of internationally touring dance companies. Stunning dancers, latino choreographers with luscious choreography, the company fuses Latin dance with classical and contemporary techniques creating a new style of concert dance where theatricality and passion propel every move. The choreographers represent rich Latino cultures and nationalities including Venezuela, Cuba, Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia. We are thrilled to have Ballet Hispánico for the first time in a TITAS Presents season.

Two years ago, Compagnie Hervé Koubi debuted in Dallas with TITAS Presents and struck the audience speechless, that is until the standing ovation. A French male company with Algerian dancers, they are unique in our season. Fearless, powerful and masculine beyond belief, Hervé Koubi is a stunningly beautiful dance company. This exceptional company of men will once again demand awe from the audience, and they’ll get it.

LUCKY PLUSH PRODUCTIONS A group of washed-up super heroes join forces to create a nonprofit think tank but get caught up in the politics of branding and group dynamics. Fighting evil ain’t what it used to be. This is the basis for Trip the Light Fantastic: The Making of SuperStrip, Lucky Plush’s newest creation. Funny, smart and thought provoking, Lucky Plush is a breath of fresh air in the dance world. They’re going to quickly become a TITAS favorite!

Dance Project, in five short years, has toured 11 countries and 34 cities and has established itself as a force to be reckoned with. Great dancers, bold artistic vision and stunning choreography have established L.A. Dance Project as one of the most exciting new companies to burst onto the scene. We welcome L.A. Dance Project in their Dallas Debut.
