Date: Sun, Jun 10 Cost: Adult $60 Youth (6-11) $45 Child (0-5) $39 Mileage: 350 km Enjoy a physically challenging and exciting Zipline Depart: 6 a.m. / Return: 6 p.m. course that will test your climbing and balance skills to the limit. The course is about two-hours long that consist of vertical and horizontal rope ladders, vertical nets, rock climbing walls, and zip-lines up to 173 meters. Many of the stations are 10 to 15 meters above ground. Equipped with a harness and attached to a safety line, participants cross unique obstacles from tree to tree. It’s safe and requires no prior training other than a 15-minute introductory session upon arrival. This tour is restricted to those 10 years and older and at least 140cm / 56 inches tall. Maximum allowable weight: 130kg / 285lbs IMPORTANT: Athletic shoes required. Children must be accompanied by an adult during the course, and no more than two children per adult. Iris Festival & Shinshoji Temple

Oze National Park is situated on the boundaries of Niigata, Fukushima, Gunma and Tochigi prefectures. Oze boasts one of the most scenic views particularly when the marsh is crowded with the distinctive white flowers of the Mizubasho (white skunk cabbage). This tour is limited to those nine years and older due to the physical requirements. NOTE: Prepare accordingly for June weather, tour may be cancelled due to foul weather on short notice. Comfortable hiking shoes and rain gear recommended.

The Iris Festival in Chiba is a large annual event held when the iris flower is in full bloom. We will visit Sawara Aquatic Botanical garden and enjoy the panorama of flowers and water plants. We’ll also enjoy the lovely scenery on a relaxing hour-long boat ride. Next is the Narita-san Shinshoji Temple, where visitors are believed to receive luck in warding off evil spirits. Universal Studios Japan Date: Sat, Jun 16 Cost: $55 Mileage: 900 km Depart: 2:30 a.m. / Return: 1 a.m. Visit this theme park inspired by Hollywood movies. See exciting attractions that realistically reproduce movie masterpieces, characters and entertainment! The tour is limited to ages four and older due to the long distance. Price for One Day Pass: Adult (12+):¥7,900 / Child (4-11):¥5,400 To avoid standing in line at Universal Studios, tickets may be purchased at IACE travel located in the Tours Office, 264-6297. IACE charges a ¥540 administration fee for each ticket.

We will spend time visiting the temple, have lunch and browse through Nakamise shopping street. Later, we’ll take a boat cruise down the Sumida River viewing Tokyo. Aqua Park Shinagawa is an urban entertainment facility that highlights the dolphin performance incorporating lighting and sound effects. Five Colored Lakes Hike & Abukuma Cave

Date: Sat, Jun 30 Cost: $57 (4+) Mileage: 500 km Depart: 3:30 a.m. / Return: 10:30 p.m. Discover the Aizu region of Goshikinuma "5 Colored Lakes", Mt Azuma, and Abukuma cave in the Fukushima pref. The 5-colored lakes, ranging from reddish green to cobalt blue, sits on a highland plain in the Bandai-Asahi National Park. Next, Mount Azuma-kofuji, an active stratovolcano, has a conical-shaped crater and is the named "Kofuji" (small Mount Fuji). Mount Azuma's appealing symmetrical crater and the nearby fumarolic area with its many onsen have made it a popular tourist destination. Lastly, the limestone covered Abukuma Cave navigates you through a 600-meter path of stalactites and stalagmites. Due to the physical requirements, this tour is limited to those four and older.
