We’ll take a cable-car ride up Mt. Nokogiriyama for a breathtaking view of the Chiba coastline. View the beauty of Lake Yamanaka as we travel to Oshino Village, where we will make a brief stop at three local ponds where rainbow trout are farmed. Then we’ll stop and visit the Fuji Sengen Shrine. We’ll also drive through Lake Kawaguchi, the most popular of the five Fuji lakes, and then to the cavern areas at the foot of Mt. We’ll walk the old Nakasendo post road between these two iconic towns. As a souvenir, you’ll receive a certificate made of cypress. Due to the physical requirements of the tour, it’s limited to those four and older. Note: This tour involves a good deal of walking.

Pick as many grapes as you can eat at the Kohakuen Grape Farm, featuring over a dozen different types. Afterwards, we’ll visit the Shosenkyo Gorge, part of the Chichibu-Tama National Park and designated as an official scenic park in Japan. Next, we'll visit Manpuku-ji Temple, built in 1661 that introduced the Chinese Ming Dynasty style of architecture. The Tofukuji temple is considered as one of the Five Great Temples of Kyoto and is known for its beautiful Zen gardens. Lastly, we'll visit Japan's pre-eminent sake company, the Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum. This tour is limited to ages three and up due to its long distance.

After which we'll visit Meoto Iwa, the "Wedded Rocks" that represent the union between the creators of kami (Shinto spirits), Izanagi and Izanami. We will also visit the Mikimoto Pearl Island, a small island known as the birthplace of cultured pearl aquaculture. The island features a museum that exhibits pearls and pearl craft and an oyster-diving demonstration by local female divers. Admissions to scheduled places are included. During the scheduled shows, you will see the enormous orca whales glide through the water and perform tricks with ease. Also, don’t miss the ever-popular dolphin show with its jumps and flips. Take a drive with us along the breathtaking coastline west of the Izu Peninsula. Our first stop is the Toi Gold Mine opened in 1577. The exhibitions provide a realistic glimpse into the lives of miners and their environmental surroundings. Next, you’ll see the famous Joren Falls which is situated among deep forests, and drops from basalt cliffs 25m high and 7m wide. Downstream from the plunge pool is the Amagi international trout fishing site. Along the valley are wasabi fields, a specialty of Amagi. Our final stop is at Niji No Sato (Rainbow Village) where you’ll see replica villages from Great Britain and Canada, a beautifully landscaped Japanese Garden, and traditional Japanese craft making. Admissions to scheduled places are included.
