Shinshoji Temple & German Village Illumination Date: Sat, Dec 1 Cost: Adult $38 Youth (6-11) $30 Child (0-5) $21 Mileage: 250 km Depart: 11 a.m. / Return: 10:30 p.m. Narita-san Shinshoji Temple welcomes seven million people annually; visitors are believed to receive luck in warding off evil spirits. The immense temple grounds contain a Niomon gate, the Buddha’s hall, three Saints hall, a belfry and a three-story pagoda. Next, you’ll enjoy an evening at the Country Farm Tokyo German Village, where the largest winter Illumination within Chiba prefecture is presented. Admissions to scheduled places are included.

Yunessun Hakone Spa

Yunessun is a hot spring theme park that offers numerous themed baths, including the coffee bath (made from real coffee beans), the wine bath, and Japanese-style open air baths. The heated Rodeo Mountain water slide offers fun for the whole family. Be advised, a tattoo policy is instituted and strictly enforced. Don’t forget your bathing suit! Naeba One-day Ski

Don’t miss this opportunity to see members of the Imperial family in person. Our next stop is the Meiji Jingu, a Shinto shrine dedicated to the Emperor Meiji that ruled Japan from 1867 to 1912. This tour is not recommended for young children due to the large crowds expected.

The inaugural season of the Atsugi Cup starts Saturday, November 17 with the Tur-Duck-En Tournament at the Atsugi Golf Club! Modeled after the PGA’s FedexCup format, you’ll earn points based on your play in monthly tournaments. Monthly tournaments will include lunch, scoring, prizes and an awards ceremony following each round. The Atsugi Cup winner will be announced at the season-ending, two-day Atsugi Tour Championship set for August 2019. Those eligible to play for the Atsugi Cup include all U.S. and foreign nationals currently employed at U.S. military installations in Japan and their dependents. Note that you don’t have to play in all the tournaments to qualify for the Atsugi Cup. The Atsugi Tour Championship in August 2019 will be a two-day event. Day one includes lunch after the round, proceeded by scoring, flighting, and regrouping of participants for round two. Day two will open with a breakfast buffet prior to the round. Players will be dismissed after the round, returning for the dinner banquet and closing ceremonies.
