CALLIE ARCHER PRESIDENT JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF EAST TENNESSEE

For 100 years, Junior Achievement has been giving kids the real-world skills and knowledge to be 100% ready. For work. For financial success. For life. For the future. Today's East Tennessee students are tomorrow's East Tennessee CEOs, entrepreneurs, innovators, and game-changers. Think about this: these 9th graders will be working for you as soon as 2024. My challenge to you is this... are you committed to joining with us to make sure they're ready?

HOLLINGSWORTH CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP

In the spring of 2020, Junior Achievement of East Tennessee will welcome its 75,000th student to JA BizTown since it opened in 2007. Junior Achievement is a partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers — all working together to inspire young people to dream big and reach their potential. JA’s hands-on, experiential programs teach the key concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to young people all over the world. Junior Achievement programs focus on seven key content areas: business, citizenship, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics/character, financial literacy, and career development. In East Tennessee, thanks to parents and volunteers throughout the community, we deliver our hands-on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs to more than 24,000 of the next generation's leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Whether learning about how communities function in the classroom, spending the day as the Mayor of JA BizTown, or running a startup through the JA Company Program, together, we're giving kids the tools, knowledge, and skills they need to be 100% ready for life, for work, and for success.
