TO EXPERIMENT IN THE ATOMIUM SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY WORKSHOP
5 – 30 JULY 2010
The Atomium will organize an interactive workshop for kids from 6 till 12 years old in collaboration with the Scientastic Museum in July. The mystery of magnetism, static electricity and reflections are the subjects that will be discovered. As every year, the Atomium organizes a playful and constructive workshop for its younger visitors. This year, we have chosen for a workshop designed by the Scientastic Museum of Brussels. An interactive workshop with interesting and original experiments that children can try out themselves. >>> The mystery of magnetism and static electricity Magnets are certainly one of the most magical and fascinating forces of nature. Kids can discover how they can visualize a magnetic field, how they can make a compass, how to turn on a neon light without power,… >>> To play with reflections Nothing more fun than playing with reflections. What exactly are reflections and how to they occur? Can you break a code or invent a code by using a mirror? A solution to all these questions can be found by performing some scientific experiments.
