Victory Winter Cheers

This golden-colored wheat beer forms a thin white head that quickly evaporates. Some fruit and spice notes are present when smelling the brew. The beer is crisp and, light on the mouth and very refreshing. Warmth seems to come through on the tongue after swallowing the beer. This will pair well with lighter dishes such as seafood and cheeses. Wheat beer lovers should get their hands on it while it’s in season.

A holiday wheat ale from an excellent Pennsylvania brewery. A classic wheat - semicloudy pale yellow, foamy and aromatic with a lot of lacing. I had to let the foam settle to pour the whole bottle in a pint glass. Scents of wheat, spices, hops and banana. The taste follows it’s aroma with wheat, cloves and hops. There’s even a peppery character on the back of the tongue. It’s a light but complex flavor. I recommend this seasonal that invites you to have more than one.

I was a little excited as I poured the clear golden-colored beer. I could taste the wheat and the sweet hops and it had a sour wheat flavor as well. It is pretty good but I was expecting something more.
