cal tea leaves. Shaffer’s is a little secret in Delray, but is literally my newest obsession because I found that when I visited, my body was cloud-like comfortable and my being was euphoric, all with the help from a steaming mug of Heaven and Lil’ Miss Sunshine. The interior of the space, decorated with abstract paint colors and patterns, mismatched furniture and positive vibes, practically begs you to make yourself at home and try one of the 100 different types of tea from all over the globe. All tea is made with Goodwater, which is the purest water on earth (you’ll find it in the White House), and a portion of all sales goes toward providing clean, pure water around the world. Enjoy the Best Cookie Ever, Crazy Good Carrot Cake or something savory from their deliciously limited menu (where have you been all my life, Avocado Toast?), while you find your perfect tea combo. All signs point to yes for making my day bright, and I encourage you to sip, smile and stay awhile. An iced or hot mug of tea costs less than $5 and Jess G. makes a mean cup o’ tea so let her whip you up something special. Shaffer’s Tea Room is located at 14 S. Swinton Ave. Find Shaffer’s Tea Room on facebook or call (561) 865-7618 for more information.
