Earning points and having celebrations. Getting extra help when I need it. Having a book read to me. Cafeteria food? The Burgess Chant. We get to say “I know I can” every day loud. Burgess because it feels like it is a safe place to learn and have fun. Math and science. They are my favorite. Burgess Bucks. I like getting them for being good and doing my work. Getting to be a V.I.P. and the button we get to wear. I like the party. Going to Star.com. We have teachers that help us learn, and we have fun inside and outside. I like Burgess, but you have to work hard.
