Business Feasibility Workshops A series of Workshops to help prospective entrepreneurs to develop their business proposition will be held in AIT and NUI Maynooth in May-June 2012. Participants who complete the Workshops will be encouraged to apply for New Frontiers Programme 2012 commencing in July.

New Frontiers Programme 2012 provides high potential entrepreneurs and innovative start-ups with the business skills, networks, facilities and supports necessary to navigate the business startup process from concept to successful commercialisation. The Programme is based in the Midlands Innovation and Research Centre at AIT and the John Hume Building at NUI Maynooth.
Europharma Concepts - an Enterprise Ireland ‘High Potential StartUp’ - is an international contract manufacturing and healthcare product development company employing 40 people in Clara Co Offaly with turnover of €4.2m.
Richard Bruton, Minister for Jobs Enterprise and Innovation, and Ann Marie Durkin, CEO Shasta Shasta - an Enterprise Ireland ‘High Potential Start-Up’ - develops unique and innovative baby products. Shasta’s first product, Steri-Soother, was the world’s first pre-sterilised soother. Shasta’s latest product, SteriOva, a portable baby bottle sterilizer, has been developed in collaboration with the Materials Research Institute and the Bioscience Research Institute at AIT and is poised for worldwide launch.
