What you see is coloured by how you feel. The Emotional Mirror brings you face to face with this phenomenon by analysing your facial expression and reflecting that back to you. Along with your own image it displays your thoughts as tweets that embody the emotion you’re experiencing. While you’re looking into the mirror the feedback loop between sensation and perception becomes ever more visible. The project was created using python, C++ and openFrameworks. BIO Random quark is a London based creative technology company founded by Tom Chambers and Theodoros Papatheodorou that specialises in interactive installations including large scale projections, augmented reality, physical computing and the web. We design and develop experiences that combine the real with the virtual.
Αυτό που βλέπετε χρωματίζεται ανάλογα με το πώς αισθάνεστε. Το έργο Emotional Mirror σας φέρνει πρόσωπο με πρόσωπο με αυτό το φαινόμενο, αναλύοντας την έκφραση του προσώπου σας και να αντανακλώντας το πίσω σε σας. Μαζί με την εικόνα σας, εμφανίζει τις σκέψεις σας σε μορφή tweets, ενσαρκώνοντας το συναίσθημα που βιώνετε. Ενώ κοιτάτε στον καθρέφτη η ανάδραση μεταξύ αίσθησης και αντίληψης γίνεται όλο και πιο ορατή. Το πρότζεκτ δημιουργήθηκε χρησιμοποιώντας τις γλώσσες προγραμματισμού Python, C ++ και openFrameworks.

ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ Η random quark είναι μια δημιουργική εταιρεία τεχνολογίας με έδρα το Λονδίνο που ιδρύθηκε από τους Tom Chambers και τον Θεόδωρο Παπαθεοδώρου και ειδικεύεται σε διαδραστικές εγκαταστάσεις, προβολές μεγάλης κλίμακας, επαυξημένη πραγματικότητα, physical computing και το διαδίκτυο. Σχεδιάζουμε και αναπτύσσουμε εμπειρίες που συνδυάζουν το πραγματικό με το εικονικό.
