Wednesday, April 6th. The event started at 10am with fair rides and food. Some of the tasty treats, provided by Sodexo, were foot long corn dogs, funnel cakes, caramel apples, and cotton candy. ASU students received tickets to get free prizes throughout the event. At 7pm, Springfest concluded with a viewing of the movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1,

13th. With free hot dogs and drinks provided by SGA and SAB, ASU students experienced a true Day in the Park. Other prizes given out were sunglasses, tattoos, and cups. After the 7th inning, SAB even serenaded the crowded with a rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”. The ballpark atmosphere was sure to put the home team in high spirits.

One Project at a Time! Day

Saturday, April 9th. Students from different ASU organizations volunteered their time to do community service projects with nonprofit organizations in the Jonesboro community. Some of the places where people volunteered

included Skilcare Nursing Center, YMCA, Women’s Discovery Center, West End Jonesboro Cleanup, Salvation Army, Autism Walk, Literacy League, Consolidated Youth Services, The Learning Center, and Holy Angels Convent.
