DEGREE PATHWAY FOOD SERVICE & MANAGEMENT Technical Certificate (30 credit hours) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The technical certificate in Culinary Services is a two semester long program designed to provide students with the necessary skills for culinary and management positions in the hospitality industry. Students will learn quality cooking and managerial skills with emphasis on food selection, food preparation, and customer service.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:

Students will be prepared to work in a variety of food service businesses such as restaurants, schools, hospitals, and hotels. Career possibilities include, but are not limited to, assistant manager, shift manager, assistant hotel food and beverage manager, assistant event manager, caterer, and hotel guest services employee.
