On December 9, 1992, the Provincial Council approved the proposal to establish a Formation Center that will orient teachers on Assumption Education envisioned by our mother Foundress, St. Marie Eugenie. Hence, the Marie Eugenie Institute (MEI). Mother Carmen Reyes, r.a. and Ma. Stella “Chinit” Delgado-Rufino were appointed to serve as its first Co-Executive Directors.

What a best way to start the week! Truly a lovely memory that the students and their dads will remember for the rest of their lives.

One of the greatest gifts I received from my parents is my Assumption education. I started in Assumption Iloilo as a 1st grader, and as they say, went all the way! Looking back now, as an almost college graduate, I know for certain that I would be a very different person had I not spent all my formative years at Assumption.
