o many people in the world are living lives of quiet desperation. Are you one of them? You get up, go to a job you don’t like, come home and watch a few hours of TV, go to bed, and do it all over again the next day. That’s not a life. Or at least it’s not really living. Your particular life may be less desperate than this, but do you still feel empty and unhappy more than you’d like? There may be some bright moments of happiness and fun, but far too often you find yourself thinking about the life you wish you were living -- even though you’re not quite sure what that would look like.
When you look around, you see other people who are so darned excited about their lives. You can feel it just being in their presence – they have a passion. Seeing them, you know a better life is possible. The only problem is getting there. What does it really mean to have a life passion, and how do you take this concept and transform it into something real and tangible in your own life? When I talk about finding and living your life passion, I mean far more than finding a career you love or a hobby that’s entertaining or volunteer work that is fulfilling. When I talk about life passion, I’m talking about something big. Something bold. A total mind shift that changes the way you think about yourself and how you operate in the world. Does that mean you have to give up your job or start over? Not necessarily. But maybe. It depends on you, your priorities, and what in your current life is worth sacrificing or pursuing based on who you are and what you want. Are you confused?
